As a Guy, what's the best way to start back up after the Marriage has ended?
Within a month I will be divorced, and I think I have handled the separation up to this point very well. I waived bye to my estranged wife without a single negative word.This is what I am doing right now:
1. Mingling with people again. Just for fun. Trying to get social again.
2. I have removed all our photos from our home. Left the kids, but she is gone from the walls.
3. Getting my personal business all wrapped up, credit cards wiped out, and names removed from accounts.
4. Selling off all non-essential items to simplify my life.
5. Setting aside days and times just to be my kid's time. That has taken some adjusting to get right.
6. Got a Gym membership.
7. Getting involved with corporate volunteering events.
Just incase I missed something, what other things should be good to think about doing waiting for the true up on court day when the divorce is final? I am a little old fashion, so I don't want to be romantic until the divorce is final. But a day after I could be dangerous, being months, nearly a year since getting any serious bedroom romance.

So we have to bring a title of a book to the class next next day and I used to love this book I read before in another class BUT I can't remember the name! I hate that feeling when you can't remember it.So this is what I remember in the book:
There were these people that were trapped in this society, which limited their marriage, how many children they could have, and had MANY limits. It was like this little town somewhere. When old people die, I think they are kept somewhere? They had like these secret council somewhere.
I can't exactly remember what else there was, I just remember I loved that book. Does anybody have an idea? I will try to add more about the story if I can remember anymore.

EX HUBBY VS. NEW HUBBY?
Will type the facts, u will get the point. Married my H.S. Sweetheart. Had 3 kids. together 14 yrs. Discovered ex had life long sex addiction. Not naive, we worked early shifts, he was home 2-3 hours daily before me. I always got the kids after my shift, to allow him to rest. He used those hours for addiction. Was home every night! Ideal marriage/ family. Stood by him for 2 years as he attended counseling. He failed. We divorced. The kids did fine. Honor Students, play sports and high self esteems with Christian Morals. Great dad and active in their lives. Odd, we are friendly/ joke. Just over 3 years. He's not married and dates. Not hurting another woman? I am re-married. 2 yrs in December. He is a great man. He is my age. No kids and accepts mine as his. My kids adore him. My ex and he are friendly for respect. The problem? I still love my ex deeply. I love my new hubby and know what I have. I can't get past the feeling of being lost. I feel my spot is with the family I created and one member (the dad) is not here. The kids are not asking me to reconcile. The ex calls me about kids & to make jokes. Also to tell me of a bad day, if he is ill, if the boss is mad, etc. Still thinks of me as his wife and loves me? He needs to hear my voice to sooth him. I just help by talking a few minutes. He is respectful. My new hubby is aware of his calls, continued love. I think of my ex several times a day. Not sexual. I love my current hubby but feel I am not belonging here. I am sure the ex would be around if I was not married. I am not saying I want to leave my hubby. I know the ex is still an addict. Life is not the same and I may relate the down road to missing the ex. So I can be wrong! I will always wonder "what if I opened myself up again?" Am I crazy? What do I do? I do talk to the new hubby. He says he respects the love that will always exist or I would be abnormal if I didn't care.Question #7:

My boyfriend is an atheist and I am pagan. I can't invite our families to a pagan hand-fasting (Marital ceremony) because it would freak everyone out and ostracize us completely and a Christian wedding is pointless for obvious reasons. To those who are happily married, was there any doubt at all that it would work? Because my current girlfriend and I have a lot of things in common, but she has a lot of things to work on and I am not 100% secure with her being faithful and a sweet person to me for the rest of my life.
